Quality Game Bags

Just got done washing my game bags.............again! These things are awesome, one of the best hunting investments I've made. I have no idea how many times I have used them, soaked them in blood, got muddy from rear tires kicking up dirt, dust and mud, and they still come out looking new every time. 

 They keep the meat clean and with the elk bags I can get a entire deer in one bag if I cut it in half, two bags will easily cover a entire deer that is not cut. Link Below.

But they are heavy!  I ordered two sets and when I got the box I was shocked.  Good quality for sure.

I have used the same bag for many years over and over.
Here "they" are after I modified them and stitched 1 1/2 nylon webbing on them for handle with pack loops.

You only need one bag for a deer.

Yea I got some that are similar that I have used over and over again for the past years and they do hold up well..... BUT.....I have some that I used for back packing and boat hunts in AK and they are atleast 8 years old, look brand new and have had alot of dead stuff inside....  Can't remember the name, but super-super light and super durable, blow that style away, but I haven't seen them down here in any store anywhere....  Will try to find the name for you...

I have some Mike, they work well for hanging meat in, or temporarily packing out on your back, but they dont keep the meat as clean when in the back of your truck driving.

I have two sets of T.A.G. bags, love them. The fact that I can have 5 or 6 bags with me at all times is a huge plus for me. Nice and light and I have had no issues with them keeping meat clean in the truck.

When mine not being used I have them sealed up in plastic from my vac sealer. They get suprising compact and they stay dry until needed.

I've learned a few tricks over the years. The plastic bag also gives you a liver heart bag as well. Or you can seal one inside so ya always have one.

I guess maybe I should buy some if I decide to hunt from my truck then.....  lol    Are you referring to a bag that can encompass the whole deer???  I always bone out everything so never an option for me no matter where at.  Just curious to how it is getting dirty in the back of a truck to the point of needing the extra protection, don't you have a cap or camper on the back of it?   Jeez the haul road (AK) is 300 miles of the nastiest - dustiest- bumpiest road in the US and the TAGS never let an ounce of dust on the caribou meat on the return trips home...  Never had one have a problem fitting a Moose hind qaurter or heck even Bison quarters fit inside them fine.  Must be some big ass bodied deer you guys go after...

Not once have I ever felt the need to upgrade my gamebags. The money I've spent on gamebags over my entire life is less than they want for one. Pillow cases are almost free.

My buddy bought some Remington game bags last year and they worked great on an elk. While old sheets and pillow cases are great because they're free, the game bags are great because they're compact and stretchy. I get the impression that they breathe better than pillow cases, too.

 No idea who pissed in your Cheerios but I never said my deer are bigger than yours or that the TAG bags would not hold a moose or bison quarter, so I have no idea where your comments are coming from.

 As I said I have owned both, sorry if I prefer the canvas bags over the TAGS but I suppose you could start your own thread and let everyone know how well you like the TAG bags, I promise I won't get offended.

Can't believe you guys are spending that much on game bags.

Go to a thrift store and buy sheets (king size less than $5), and sew two sides. Get really dirty throw away.
