If you don't mind me asking, what shop is that?  I have a Hoyt that could use a little tune up and I might even be open to a bow upgrade.

Hoyt300,

Is that something that is common with Hoyt bows? Seems too early to be headed back to the shop for cam issues, considering it cost $900. I guess it could just be a break in thing, what's your thoughts, thanks for posting that.

It is a break in thing. The factory strings will stretch a little.

I love my Hoyts. I have a Vector Turbo on the way. Wish I could swing the Spyder Turbo but the Vector should be no slouch either.

I think the cams being out of sync was to do with changing from 28" draw to 29" I have shot few arrow thru it I did notice the bow was get louder when i was shooting the top cam was a 1/4" out of sync

Hoyt.....would you mind mentioning which shop you used? I'm in the market and very close to pulling the release on a new Spyder 34....always looking to hear feedback especially on such a recent purchase.

I stopped by Riverside Archery up in Mt. Vernon and really enjoyed talking to the staff there.  Nock Point in Lynnwood also sells Hoyts, probably where I'm going to order mine from only because it's in my 'hood.

I need to go shoot the Spyder turbo and the Matrix G3. Has anyone shot both yet?

You mean one like this???

I've had it for about two weeks, now.  Not a lot of arrows through it so far, but I'm lovin' it.  Smooth draw and solid wall.  And the least amount of shock and noise of any bow I've owned (multiple Athens, Bowtech, Mission).  I did get grip side plates with it, which I like better than the stock, full grip (which it's bad either).  I have it setup at 61 lbs. and 28.5" draw.  I will say the 6" brace height is keeping me honest in terms of form.  At this point I really can't think of anything to nit pick about it.
