I had a single-barrel stove in my workshop years ago.  worked good.  I got the barrel from a buddy that ran a cabinet shop, and bought Lacquer in 55 gallon drums.  Being a flammable liquid, the drums were thicker steel than ordinary 55 gallon barrels.
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

So is the kit only to build a wood stove?  If so, why the second drum on top?  If it's a smoker, are you going to fashion another door on the top barrel for meat insertion/extraction?
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice

I have a friend that has one for heating his shop, the idea is to trap the smoke and double the heat output, works good for his cold shop. Seems like it would get too hot for smoking but I definitely wouldn't know, they are kinda neat woodstoves though.

No just doing research to build one, I have a 60 gallon horizontal propane tank I was thinking about using for the burn chamber, or I have 6 - 55gal drums to use in any combination. I like the wheels also.

I am worried about the extra weight with the propane tank. It will make it harder to move around.

I was wondering, what about water heaters? Inside is a very thick cylinder, if you get a 50 gallon short water heater, strip it down. You should have a very nice fire box. You could probably pick them up for free. When I used to work for a Plumbing wholesaler we would throw away defective heaters all the time.
