:yike: :bash:

i had been curious about taking a look up around there, mainly for old time's sake.  think i'll stay out in my neck of the woods.  back when i was just out of high school i used to go run out there a few times a week, and rarely saw anyone(this was less than 10 years ago), much less in early january.  can't even drift fish my favorite spot any more, since the plunkers took it over, and they never leave!
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

I fished it last week and hooked into a couple of beat up spawners. Lots of rigs but it didnt seem to crowded, most people didnt have chest waders though.

I was up there during Christmas break.  I saw someone drive by really, really slow so I reeled up and hiked to my truck.  Mine was the only one in the lot that night.  I came out late...  Two people got out and looked at the fish hatchery, then went to look at my truck.  I sat in the brush waiting to see what they were doing.  One checked to see if my door was locked.

They got into their rig and left.  I did get the info and called it in.  BUT you need to be careful up there.

Light blue / light gray older Toyota Corolla.  The sheriff knew who they were as well.

I watched from the brush while they looked.  I have AT&T cell coverage and I cannot get cell coverage from there as well.

Both had dark hair and skinny.

One was about 5' 9" - 5' 10" about 150 to 160 lbs.   The other was shorter...  There was a person in the back seat of the car who did NOT get out.  I only saw him/her when they drove by the outside light of the hatchery.  And I did not get a good look at him/her as I only saw the silhouette  of his/her head.

Kind if unnerving to watch people look into your rig while only 50 yards away.

Do you know them?

So you are in the middle of the crap...  Is your place very close to the "T" when I stop from the Johnson Creek road and take a left to head up to the hatchery hole?

I fished it Sunday and Monday picked up one native steelie but just read the paper and the TNT mentioned it in there so I suspect it's going to be packed this weekend. Walked off the river on New Years because all the city folk there I had 10 people walk down on me first 20 mins of day light in the release fields.  :bash:

So all they did is look into the truck.  So they did not do anything illegal.  They did creep me out.  But just keep an eye out.
