You have bought into the liberal (I'm sorry, "pinko") lie hook, line, and sinker.

The truth? Less than 2% of guns used in crimes come from gun shows. More like 0.7-1.7%. Some facts for you:  http://www.ncpa.org/pub/ba349

Why not focus on the 98% instead? How about the massive decline in federal prosecutions under Eric Holders Department of "Justice" for people who lie on the Form 4473?  Or we could talk more about the etymology of the word pinko.

i have never been to the gun show in monroe.  the point im trying to get across, is that were coming to a point where we have two choices..... one is to outlaw firearms, which i will not stand for.  the other is to ATTEMPT to keep firearms out of the hands of *censored* up individuals.  and if keeping firearms out of the hands of messed up little outcast kids means that gunshows are put under the same rules as gun stores, im okay with that.  at least its something.  it wont do anything but its a start.  and we have to start somewhere.  wanting to figure out a way to keep the .000001% from having easy access to guns doesnt make me an anti gun rights "pinko" like you guys want me to sound like.

and i dont need your "help"      and yes i do think people lying on their forms should be prosecuted.  like i said im not anti gun.  im anti moron with gun.  and if things keep going the way they are, were all screwed.  that being said, this "brainwashed pinko" has 4 guns within reach of his computer right now and will be in olympia on the 19th.  guess im part of the problem huh?

The point, sir, is that very few criminals get their gun s from gun shows most are eliciting the help of a straw purchaser who then goes to the store, lies on the Form 4473, and doesn't face any consequences. I DO support an increase in enforcement efforts there. Why are we going to harass the law abiding at the expense of going after the bad guys?  :twocents:

OK deaner, this is good.

You have never been to the Monroe Gun Show, as you said.

How do you know the process to acquire a firearm inside the gunshow? Where did you get your information?

You should check it out. You should look at how they have decided to deal with making sure that people who buy firearms inside the gunshow deal with both the desire to not go through government NICS and the desire to keep the firearms out of the hands of mentally ill, or criminals.

After going, if there is a way to deal with this without government control, without outlawing Gun Shows? Why does the government (The same people who were talking of brainwashing who are in power today) demand that only they can have solutions? Why do they pass laws forcing signs with gun banned be placed everywhere? Why do we teach children that no gun equals safety but outlaw actually gun safety in schools? Why are those solutions always bans and registrations?

Knowledge and information is power. Control it and you control people. It is how you brainwash people. Brainwashing is actually information control. Think about that, think of where we are and then watch the video again. It is about today, it is not about 17 years ago.

Knowledge is power

i couldnt make much sense of your last post, so i will simply restate my position in the simplest of terms.  i feel that we need to take steps to keep crazy people from buying guns, and that any venue responsible for selling guns to anonymous parties is being irresponsible.  not saying THAT specific gun show is guilty of this
