good gunsmith in tri cities?
« on: January 14, 2013, 10:42:22 AM »
My benelli super black eagle isnt working right. Pull the trigger most of the time it won't fire. Sometimes it still will.. cleaned it well and still won't work so I don't know what's wrong. Any suggestions on a gunsmith I could have look at it in the tri cities area?

While you are waiting to get it into a gunsmith, get some Gunscrubber and flush the bolt out really good.  If you got oil and grit in around the firing pin that could be your problem.  Also, make sure the barrel is seating ALL the way down.  Do you have dimples on the primers?

Dimples on the primers as in is the firing pin hitting the primer and leaving a dimple?

Hmm, that's not good.  I am assuming you have pulled out the trigger assembly and cleaned that?  Is there a hammer spring that is broken?  Does the hammer stay locked back, or won't it lock back at all?

Yeah something isn't releasing. But then sometimes it will. I pulled the fitter assembly out and cleaned it as well. Using the the ol remington wingmaster until i can get it fixed.
