Its true and its law.  Residents now have one year to sell any mags that hold more than 7 out of state.  If one is found in your home, its a misdemenor.

I thought it said 10 round mags were OK but you could only have 7 rounds in them?

Funny thing, cuomo didnt read the law before signing it. Turns out even the authorjites are limited to 7&10 round mags.

SOmehow, I'm guessing those magazines will never be looked at.  However, if I got into a firefight with some NY cops, maybe I could sue them for shooting more than 8 rounds at me from a single loading.
