I like those Kentucky Strain largemouth the is in your first pic.  I use to tournament fish a lot of Northern and Central Cal lakes that had a bunch of those hard fightin' fish in them.
Yup Tennessee spotted bass they are good fighting.
Yep.  I'm not sure which strain (Kentucky, Tennessee or Alabama) spotted bass that they planted in Shasta.  They are all very similar.  I find it funny that the Fish &  Wildlife Dept. in Cal brought in strains from Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Texas and Michigan to start their breeding programs.  Most So. Cal lakes had Florida and Texas strains while Central Cal was more Texas, Kentucky and Tennessee.   LOL!

My understanding was that it was the only strain of bass that could survive well in the man made resivors with the ever changing depth in the lake.  Prior to being in California I grew up in Minnesota fishing for what ever their bass are...I think they are native.  BTW awesome boat shots by everyone.

Two of my kids being goofy on Onadoga Lake near Syracuse, NY.  (The look on my youngest one kills me)  And of course my favorite way to be on the water, paddling with my little ladies.

For those that have never seen Boneaddict before, the first pic is him fighting a sturgeon, and then the kids trout fishing at Sun Lakes.
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

Hey, I know that photo....   Was looking for it but all the photos I had on my external hard drive dumped and appears unrecoverable...  Lots of cool pictures from family, AK and memories, gone, gone, gone....   :(   Had a couple folks (hard core computer geeks) try and extract data, ever they even replaced the power system on the drive itself and still nothing but a blank drive....  Word to the wise back up those externals with an additional external...

I helped out the school here recently, they had a canoeing field trip so we took all the kiddies out canoeing.  The park service put it on, not a bad day.

Weather was crap  :chuckle:
