I'm not sure which strain (Kentucky, Tennessee or Alabama) spotted bass that they planted in Shasta. They are all very similar. I find it funny that the Fish & Wildlife Dept. in Cal brought in strains from Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Texas and Michigan to start their breeding programs. Most So. Cal lakes had Florida and Texas strains while Central Cal was more Texas, Kentucky and Tennessee. LOL!
Two of my kids being goofy on Onadoga Lake near Syracuse, NY. (The look on my youngest one kills me) And of course my favorite way to be on the water, paddling with my little ladies.
