MLHSN you da man!  I love my pack boat too.  Wish they still made them, I'd buy another just for backup.  3 lbs is worth it's weight in gold on a backpack trip if you want to ensure you get to stuff your self with trout.

In time....some days I'd trade mine for the canoe.....my first boat was a leaky 12 ft v bottom with a 9.9 on the back. I got rear ended and it just smashed it.....boy did I cry over that one. I was crushed. Now...bigger boat, bigger bills....

Oh no! Lol.. poor guy :P that would suck though. I'd be heartbroken as well if our canoe got destroyed in some way </3, even when we move on to bigger and better - definitely going to keep her.

My first hunt on Cypress island. I was drawn for a 2nd deer and have never hunted the island. So I packed up some camping gear and headed over. I didn't even setup camp. I was wanting to hunt so I beached the boat took off to find a deer. With in a couple houndred yards. I found a 3x3 bedded down. I smoked him with my smoker pole. He didn't even move, and as I walked over to him there was another 3pt that ran off. I loaded the deer and was home by 3:30pm.

Nice I have drawn the 2nd tag twice been to the island 4 times and hiked around the lakes and have yet to see a deer. Glad to see someone was successful. Nice Buck!

Bear Hunter, that is clutch.  I've always wanted to do that hunt.  Might need to try it.  I was in the canoe with my buddy floating the Stilly when he took an archery blacktail with his bow.  We were drifting by and he made a great shot from the bow.  GREAT fun!
