OK everyone. Here's what you do after they take away the guns!  :)

It's easy to be cynical about this. However, for many who do not carry guns and are naive about the reality of violence in our world, it could be helpful.
Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.

I suspect when it said to 'overpower using whatever is available' they met ANYTHING available.  So, if there was a gun handy- I would use it.  If not, I would use whatever was available- including sissors.

:yeah:  Most of this is just common-sense survival skills.  However, common sense isn't very common any more, and must be taught.  Seeing this video could save a life--even though it's 2013!  :twocents:
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

Yeah, except they leave out the part that has happened several times in this country already. A thug breaks into a house and is confronted by the home owner. They get in a physical altercation and the thug is stabbed several times with scissors and dies. The home owner is then charged with manslaughter because they stabbed the man too many times, resulting in excessive force and jail conviction.
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
