H20, Just go hit the Garage Sales this spring to the east of where we live.  I see multiple each year moving across or off the side of the road.  They aren't hard to find.  That way you can find some deals and still bag your yogi...

And that way you wont have to spend money on bullets, just tag one on the way to the sale.  You might be able to trade garage sale proprietors an uncured bear rug (fresh) for a used lawnmower or something.  You wont need a gun, you'll break like 50 laws, and you'll get a sweet new (to you) lawnmower.

All the while I'll be in the bed of your pickup drinking beer in a used chaise lounge (usually a garage sale freebie).

all i can say is with this much exposure on the first day of this thread the expectations are high!! will hope to get on going photo updates on scouting, hunt, & finish. personally i would be setting luvmystang67 up as soon as possable. might not be quite as reliable as a game came after a 1/2 rack but maybe just as effective. just remember the baiting rules.

D....i believe that since I of all people drew the tag a planning and strategy session would be a given. It will obviously be held where beer is served and take longer than necessary. Details will be posted.

Just found out I was selected also, live close to you all, if you are going to get together prior to the hunt, I will buy the first round!  Jazzed about this, my first spring bear draw.

I didn't know Lokidog drew also. That's way cool, a lot of Monroe tag holders this year. Yes Loki, I will be helping you also. I know a couple of places where it would be nice to have multiple hunters because of the wind direction. You could have a guy or 2 watching the edge of a clear cut while a guy works an adjacent over grown skid road. Wow, I'm excited and I don't even have a tag!
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!
