I have 2 GB and 4 GB cards, and either will be fine in the 46. I filled up a 2 GB card once in my 46- it had just under 3,000 pictures on it.

I use 4 GB cards and don't have any issues with them getting full and they are relatively cheap. Cheaper than a 16GB I should say haha

I've never filled my 2 GB cards.  I don't know how much memory video takes, but without that, I doubt you'd fill a 4 GB card.

I have never used the video function on my 35's honestly just pictures. I use a 3 picture 1 second apart every 30 seconds on high settings. Works for me!

What kind of condition did your cams come in? I got 4 cams for my birthday (three 35's and one 46) in two different orders. The one order had two of the 35's and were a little dirty with a few cosmetic blemishes, while the other order of the 35 and 46 looked new. I just wanted to see what kind of condition other peoples cams came in. I'll be testing them out this weekend.

Put my camera out two days ago.  Older model, that just takes pictures.  We'll see in a week or so.  Deer tracks on the trail, so it looks promising...

All right guys, what is going to be the most reliable bang for the buck camera here? Is it the Primos or the Bushnell? I am looking to buy 4 to 6 cameras and I'm looking for something that won't eat the batteries.

I bought 2 refurbed Primos and have no regrets so far.

Just set the 46 out at a different angle, see what runs through the yard tonight, haha.

Nosy neighbor trail, too.  Video between the dog and the night shot shows somebody's face peering into your yard.  :chuckle:

I've heard that cams that use AA batteries last longer.  Mine uses C-size, and battery life isn't the greatest.  :dunno:

They last longer, and you can buy lithium that last even longer than typical AA bats.
