That's one of those kick to the gut moments. I know that feeling and it sucks. Sorry to hear this.

The weather was a little nicer today.  While Everett area got snowed on, we were sunny and calm.  The boat is, now at least, sunny side up and at the repair shop for engine work.

Where did you take the boat? Fishermans bay, or Anacortes?

Thanks everyone.  Had it towed to the Honda dealer/repair shop in Anacortes.  Insurance will cover this entire operation, thank goodness.  Though with the amount they estimated to "fix" the motor on the low end we will be out $1500 plus the insurance money.   :'(  If they total the hull, we can buy it back for an as yet to be determined "salvage" cost, which could then work out OK if it is not too much.  We will probably know more next week.

Lost a bit of fishing gear, GPS, Depth Finder/GPS, spotlight, fishing net (broken but there), batteries, master switch, nav lights, wiring harnesses, maybe the control box, tachometer, dash switches, cigarette lighter/power outlet, VHF radio, a few pliers and screwdrivers, three flashlights (one cheapy actually came on but then couldn't be turned off), fire extinguisher (maybe), sunglasses, and auto inflating PFD (which didn't auto inflate apparently   :o ).  The three sets of seats have saltwater filled cushions.  I'm guessing the compass will be OK as should the hydraulic steering system.  I'll have to rewire the fuse panel, fuel guage, bilge pump and nav lights, and master switch.  The starboard side window must have hit the dock and cracked but did not bust out.  The canopy was thrashed but the tubing might be salvageable.  The fuel tank will need to be pumped and cleaned as well.

Here is a five minute video of righting the boat.

If you ever have to use Vessel Assist, by all means use the one based out of Friday Harbor as the one at Coronet Bay did not seem as professional.  VHF Channel 16 or 24 Hr dispatch (800) 391-4869, Captain Deb Fritz.  You can join Vessel Assist for $150 a year.  Our insurance would cover tow costs to $500 for a disabled boat, but the actual cost could be $600+ depending where you are and where you're going.

She was actually back for this, brought her home the night before it rolled.  She took the video.  The diver found my anchor, rods and a tackle box.  My net was tangled on the boat with several broken dodgers caught in it.
