Wife's carry pistol
« on: March 22, 2013, 12:11:51 PM »
I'm taking my wife out to rent a couple different semi-autos in 9mm or .380 to see what she's comfortable with. She has a .38 revolver, but she doesn't like the bulk of the revolver cylinder for concealment.
I was curious as to what semi-autos your wives like to shoot/carry.
Thanks.

I had her try out about 10 different pistols. She absolutely fell in love with the Sig P238. I shot it as we'll, it's a sweet little gem! Factory night sights and laser.

Not sure the kimber solo is a friendly ladies gun.  My sister like shooting a full size 45 more than she liked the solo.  That solo is a violent little sucker...if you aren't holding on it will darn near fly out of your hands.   :twocents:

Beretta Nano for my sweetie.  We went out last week and she got 72 out of 100 on paper.  She had never shot before, nothing but slinging arrows.  I'm proud of her.

Forgot to add, she isn't carrying yet.  She wants to carry, but needs time shooting first.

When my wife was looking she/we shot a lot of smaller pistols along the way before she settled on the Sig P238.
