Okay, without consideration of party politics, how is this acceptable or reasonable?

We're cutting tours to the White House, no Easter Egg hunt (really no big deal), and so on, but we're shipping millions to questionable "allies" as well as blatant multi-million dollar donations to the Muslim Brotherhood!

We hear all about sustainability and accountability in our personal lives, but we're not being led that way. How have we become so detached from common-sense? How have elected officials become so insulated that we allow this to take place?

The Whitehouse tours a largely self guided, with a few volunteers helping out. Basically the only money needed for the tours are for the SS security. What you may find interesting is that those SS security personnel were not "let go" as a result of the sequester, resulting in the tours being shut down, but rather assigned other duties. So where is the actual $$$ cut? :chuckle:

The other good little tidbit from all this is individuals publically offered Obama and Jay Carney funding for a week or two of the tours and neither of them acknowledged the offers.
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

You want to see "Crazy", rent ATLAS SHRUGGED, PART 2.  God help us if it goes that far, but that's the direction it's headed.

The end leaves it open for a sequel, but I wouldn't expect to see one unless things turn around in this country...
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"
