Cougar on camera and another camera stolen!
« Reply #15 on: May 21, 2013, 09:01:31 PM »
What's even more suspicious is what he has in his cargo pocket.  It is something heavy and bulky.....looks like it is square in shape l.....also a can of chew.

Both guys have heavy stuff in their right side cargo pockets. And tools hanging off their belts and pants. My gut says its probably tools or work items in their pockets.

So what did the DNR guys say when you called, Shane?

those are great cougar shots....stinks about your camera though, so I am curious did you have any security measures to prevent it?

The "Big Boy" looks like he is holding the same thing in his right hand.  I'm guessing GPS.
I'm not saying they didn't take your trail cam, just that you might not have proof of the theft on film.

I have talked with DNR..its not them on camera...Its U.S forest service...they may of been digging a fire line for a burn. I called that office today and spoke with a woman..shes going to found out who is running that crew and and call me back.

No security measures as I should not have to worry about people touching chit thats not theres..I own way to many cams to own enough boxes to lock them up and most boxes are usless from one brand to another.

I do know that the pics of the crew in question are staying in kettle falls at a motel..a friend saw the redheaded guy getting into a truck today.

that bigger guy in the pic..the radio/gps is not the same thing in the redheads hand..has a silver top and antenna for sure

post #14- sure looks like a game cam to me.

Can you post a picture of another similar game camera while holding it in a similar fashion/position?

Looks similar to the uniforms of the crew I saw burning on the LPO last year  :dunno:
That is suspicious for sure.
Maybe they saw who took it.  :chuckle:
