Or as close to it. That way you have the full adjustment range for the long shot. Many variables, like stated above including how much adjustment your scope has. Most of mine have 125 MOA built into them. Most have quite a bit less
.      How much MOA does the Vortex have?

125 MOA..

The vortex Razor and the NightForce...  I was talking to a person on this site (Will not name him) which he said that the NightForce has solid clicks on the dials but the vortex seamed to be mushy.

Can anyone comment on that?

They seem to be similar in price...

Vortex is very positive click, a much simpler zero stop set-up, and a larger solid tube for light and adjustment capability. Some people are chevy, some are ford, and some are pretty opinionated about it. And some just make comments , yet do not own either...a person needs to research and not take opinions on this.

In there a difference between the two for warrantee perspective?

I like the 35mm tube diameter for sure.

Lifetime transferable with Vortex. So, you can buy it, give it to a buddy, he can run over it with his truck, send it in and get a free scope. Cant beat that! I take it one step further.. you buy from my shop, you bring the damaged scope to me and I will hand you a new scope on the spot. :-) thats how much I stand behind their product

That is the main reason I am in the process of changing most of my optics to vortex!

125 MOA is pretty great. My leupolds I think have 90 moa if I remember correctly on the vx3 LR's. Is the 125 only on the viper or which all models have 125 moa?

I gotcha. I just started playing with there scopes. I have 2 so far but hard for me to step away from leupold. They have done all I have asked. I have the vortex on a 223 semi and 300 blk testing to see how they hold up before dropping more on the high end stuff. Glad I found out that the viper only has 65 moa and will look to the razor if I want to go into there higher end stuff.
