Im not a fan of the spot hogg, they make a nice sight, I have one on my Pro Elite I use for indoors right now, but my vote is for the flashpoint ignite 7 pin by MBG....

Very interesting sight...  I just checked it out and wouldn't mind checking one out in a store.... Do they have the intensity of brightness that a spot hogg has?

I had a Spot Hogg SDP (seven deadly pins) and it did not work for me. All of the pins were so close that it blocked out the animal when I dropped into the kill zone and had to keep relooking at the animal as I could not see it past the sights. I needed something that had less pins and more open space between the fiber optic housings. This is of course a personal opinion!!  That being said, if anyone out there needs one I have one available and will let it go for $75.00 as they are rather pricey items. Contact me by personal email listed!!

Spot hogg SPD7 is the best that i have used. They are a tough sight and the pins/fiber optics dont break.

I do love my SDP, but came out of some thick stuff last year and looked down to see only three out the seven pins left. Of course my 20 and 30 where broke so I had to switch some around. I have the wrap on it now and haven't broke one since.

Single pin here.
Hate all those pins blocking my view, and the chance of using the wrong one. but that's me.
Been shooting a single pin for 20 years.

Does the darkening cover do a nice job of dimming the fibers in bright sunlight?  That's my biggest beef with a typical wrapped sight, they are just too bright.  I'm leaning heavy towards the flashpoint.

The HHA OL 5500 has an adjustable rheostat to block the  sunlight from hitting the fiber optic. You simple screw it in or out. It really work well.

Don't spend the big bucks. Get a 3 pin tru-glo. set one at 20, one at 30 and one at your max yardage. Lets say 70 yds is max. If you have a fast flat shooting bow that's all you need. 7 pins can be a bit confusing when the kill of a lift time steps out. I hear a lot of story's about, "I missed because I used the wrong pin". :twocents:

I agree about the pin number 100%. It can be very confusing when you have 5 or 6 pins to chose from. Todays bows are much flatter shooting than the bows from 10 or more years ago.
