Hello all, been visiting this site regularly and really appreciate hearing and seeing success stories, although I don't post much. Decided to jump in basically because I can't contain myself after finally drawing this tag. Drew the modern early tag and actually excited to dust off the 300 and give it heck. Typically only hunt archery in this state but still like to rifle hunt from time to time. Fortunate to have a great work schedule and plan to put a ton of time in preparing. I drew with a partner so it should be a ton of fun! I think we had 11 points avg. If anyone else that drew this tag would like to swap scouting info I am happy to share.

to fishunt,  my son lives in spokane and he drew the same tags as you.  the turnbull and desert are on the same week and he is still working.  lets hope for cool rainy weather.  good luck.    also the guy that has shot 4 bucks in desert , did he draw 4 times?  that is unreal.   mike w

There is a lot of land in the desert and I think most people (90%) don't realize that most deer don't grow to the pictures that most see!!!!!!!!! Sorry but unless you do real homework it's a over rated unit!!
