Look at # 12 it only excludes 485 , the rest including nooksack should be open.   :dunno:

I think if I had the permit I'd be scouting the areas up off of Hwy 12 up by White Pass.  It is close enough that I could scout it every weekend.  There has to be some big bulls up there. :twocents:

The incentive tag and raffle tag have different rules.

they still have not sent out the package, but talking to Margie who handles this at Washington Fish and Wildlife she said we can hunt any unit except 485, or a unit that only allows spike bull hunts, which on our side of the mountian I don't think is any, but we will of course read the material once we have it in our hands. We are both very much law abiding people, and wouldn't hunt where we should not. With this tag that would be beyond stupid :) Thanks again for all the input!! and Wongway Congrats on your hunt!!

I would drop the first legal bull I saw, and then hunt for horns.

Isn't the raffle tag an additional tag? I believe it is. So he WOULD have two tags. Problem is, the general season tag wouldn't be good at the same times as the raffle tag. Unless he was hunting during a general season, but why do that when you don't have to?

In essence it is a second tag.  But I would not do What he states. One lets say you are in the Nook. You are only in there because you have that tag.  So shoot the biggest bull you are happy with.  Them during the general season shoot what ever you can legally shoot for meat.  Just my two cents
If its brown knock it down
