Where by Hwy 530?
On the side of the road.  Nothing is going to pay off nearly as much as getting out and going scouting.

I would have to disagree with this also. I have been scouting Mountain Loop, Index, Baring, and Skykomish area for over a month a have seen birds on every trip. Just hope I can find them in a few more days :) As far a C-Post is concerned... We have a friend that lives 1/4 mile from the turn off. There is a gate right on the other side of the bridge now and the neighbors  come out packing to push people off the land. Apparently some a-hats were just parking on the other side of the bridge and started popping off rounds. If you try to go to C-post, beware.
