Well no deer on the opener, but...
« on: September 02, 2013, 10:25:32 AM »
Overall a awesome day in the woods. Spent it with a good friend and saw some game. Started off seeing a nice doe but to far, then saw a nice 3pt still with real nice velvet but could not get a shot. Later in the day I picked a spot to sit and was there for about 10min. I heard something below me and thought it was a deer. He started to walk up this hill right to me at 30 yds away. Low and behold it was a small cinnamon cub. Beautiful bear. He got about 15yds from me and didn't even notice me, I was waiting for momma but never showed. Either dead or the cub went on his own. Overall a good day. Deer weren't moving to much being with it was so hot. Maybe get it done today.

You guys should buy Contours instead. Lower profile, good setup for hunting, and it's a local company.
