I wouldn't even hesitate to fill my freezer with him.

Pass on day one. He's young and not that big.

I agree for the most part unless I had tons of scouting in and cameras that weren't showing much if anything bigger. He is a decent young bull but it would be tough to pull the trigger the first morning.
Naw, shoot him, stock the freezer. On to the next animal.

If its a first Elk you shoot!
If your looking for a trophy let him walk. (You probably have a couple under your belt if your trophy hunting).

Depends on what else you have been seeing in there.  If you don't have a bigger one nailed down, I'd be shooting...
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Having never shot an elk and being my 1st time, I wouldn't hesitate.

Shoot'em! I took a spike with my bull tag last year. First bull we saw once the season started, day 5 of hunting. I would have loved to have seen one like that!

If he makes you happy shoot him. I wouldn't shoot, I have no problem passing a bull early if it's not to my standards, and am happy shooting a dink on day 4 or 5. As long as you are happy that's all that matters. Good luck on your hunt. That unit has potential to produce a very nice bull.
