Go to walmart, and get one of the primos three packs its like ten bucks they are great reeds for a cheap price.

I have no money or time to order new calls, then wait 2 weeks to get them. Season will be over :dunno:
Oh well, not like I was gonna fill my elk tag anyways lol.

I am a firm believer that your experience will be a direct result of the amount of work you put into it.  There is allot of elk season left, and honestly they will only get more active as the cows estrus cycles start to show up.  The calls may not be needed depending on where you are hunting allot of elk in high pressure areas will associate calls with humans, and avoid them.

put yourself in the right spot and you wont have to even worry about elk calls, use others to your advantage, you should get a hoochie mama, tough to lose those and easy to use and they work awesome, where are you going to be huntn dude, i could meet up with ya in graham and you could borrow my hoochi mama, theyare adjustable to one is for calfs and one is for cows, let me know dude

yeah do not feel bad ...I bought 5 calls from Phelps and came home with 2  :yike: :bdid: Just makes me sick I lost the one we called 3 turkeys in with ...good thing for Phelps  :dunno: :chuckle:
