NEW BOW OR RANCH WHITETAIL HUNT
« on: October 08, 2013, 04:26:50 AM »
So here is my dilemma do i do a private 2 day ranch hunt for whitetail ( i will keep the outfitters name hidden b/c of special pricing) or do i get the new bowtech carbon knight. they are about the same price?  Let me know your thoughts.

Ill say a bow..2 days is too short and if you dont get anything you will be thinking I shoulda got the bow :chuckle: unless you have a real shot at a monster buck there. Does and and small bucks are to easy to get

Two days is an awfully short time even in great country to close the deal with a bow, but on the other hand do you have a backup area to hunt-in if you purchase a new bow.

I would buy the bow. If you get a nice buck you will want it mounted and that is not cheap either, unless you have someone that will give you a great price or do it for free. Just my  :twocents:

Besides, its a two day hunt then its over. The bow will last a long time and you will get many of shots with it!

Hope your dog is ok.

I'd buy a bow, but not that one.

Tough choice there, but as was said the bow will last longer for you than the hunt. Get the bow and go to the Ranch next year.  :dunno:

Alot of people are saying bow but the poll says hunt the ranch....   i dunno... if i can swing a 3rd day then i will def most likley do the ranch... but i really want the carbon Knight.... i am so torn on this decision..... i think in the next few days or even a month i will lock the poll and go with the majority decision.... i can't make it on my own so i will let ya'll decide for me...

I picked the carbon knight although I wouldn't buy one. But I would buy a bow over a 2 day hunr.

Buy both, no dilemma.  Pay cash for the hunt and put the bow on the C.C.  You will have until next season to pay it off.   :chuckle:

Or just buy the hunt and get the bow in August when it is worth half it's original value.

I voted the bow as I don't think 2 days is a very good hunt for a big buck but if I already had a decent bow I'd take the hunt. I never wanted to spend the money on a hunt like that but it would be kinda funto to once.

I would do the hunt, its all about the experiences and memories.
The material things can be bought later if you want it. A deal on a really good hunt won't be there.
