any 328 bucks yet?

Its only anhour away and hitting it pretty hard. One small 3x3 chased but no shot. minimal does and plenty of orange. Just wonderin what anyone has seen or done in 328. Reecer cr. to schnebly cnyn area?

There used to be a lot of deer in that area.  Not much going on anymore.

Saw a nice buck early archery season drew the bow twice but couldn't get shot off.

Just got back , found alot of does and spikes and a few 2 points in the eastern part of the unit, saw two legal bucks but no shot opportunity.

Brutal this year only had one shooter on my game cams and one really nice young 2pt that was going to be nice next year, someone decided that big of a two point must have eyeguards and they were wrong.  That kind of stuff really hurts a herd that is already in trouble because the hairloss the past few years and now the wolves.  There are at least two that have been working the Wilson to Reecer area for the past year and a half.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

That sucks. Im not hunting this unit again for deer. Elk is good for me but deer sucks. New area next year or out of state for me.

Heard rumors of couple more legal deer getting shot this weekend but for the most part everyone said hunting was no good this year with low deer numbers.

he was close to 80 the first time ( chip shot ). The second time he was about 40 but I had no good shooting lane.
