Anywhere that has more clearcuts and reprod than  mature timber. Deer live and feed in reprod, I look for clear cuts that border it. I also tend to see less deer in areas with good concentrations of elk. Lewis county is known for giants but I don't see a lot of deer where I hunt there.

That should be enough information to start on finding your own area

back in the day the coweeman unit was loaded with them! Also the graback units have some nice ones aswell. IE Klickitat area!  :yike:
