Man I don't think I could of passed on that first picture buck.  He aint monster but man he is a good lookin buck.
Young buck and not even a consideration with a late tag. A couple days to go, hope it goes well.

Last day we could hunt las t couple of hours she shot a meat buck. With no book bucks spotted for the tag it was a tuff hunt and with the wife not being able to hike very far this is what we get. She made an awsome shot and I was proud of her passing up so many bucks just to shoot a small one. That happens with these tags you pass up alot of bucks to get that ONE, but sometimes it just doesnt work out.

Good for her.   It may not seem like it by all the photos I post, but this has been the hardest fall I can remember for finding decent bucks.   It was  a tough year.

Sometimes that is just the way it goes.  Sounds like you gave it a great effort and at least were able to fill the tag.  A lot of guys pass on deer throughout the hunt and on the last day can't find a buck of that caliber.  Way to get it done at the very end.

I am heading over tonight for the late archery in Swakane, can I call you on the last day if I am in a bind?  :chuckle: I would actually shoot that one day one with a bow.

I am planning on hunting my usual hotspot..... away from the road.
