my son got a pretty nice one today.  it was about 28 wide and in rut.  a nice heavy 4 point.  I don't know how to do pics, sorry.    it  is really tough hunting.   it does no good to scout more than a month before it opens.      mike w

I am a computer dummy but I will have my son post one.  it was by far the biggest buck we saw and we hunted every day.  we saw some fair bucks(20-23) but it is tough.   mike w

I saw some very big tracks following smaller tracks Sunday morning.   Appeared to be a buck on the trail of a doe.  The tracks weren't there on Saturday as I duck hunted there both days.

Nice deer. I think I have a crappy cell phone pic of that deer in my leased field this summer. He was running with another smaller 4 pt and a 3 pt.

he had a kicker point that does not show in the pic.  I also hope to draw some day, hope it is sooner than later.    again it is a tough hunt, walking in sand praying for rain to firm up the sand.  we will crack the bottle of Pendleton whisky on the grand ronde sat., flyfishing for steel.   mike w

My Desert buck was a nice heavy deer we were lucky we could get the truck up to it would have been hard to drag.  Mine was 26 and a quarter wide and I was happy it took me 14 points.

I was with Dick Hemore he has access to some private land and he has one of those deer carts but we were able to get to it with the truck.
