Getting stoked up! My trapping partners and I are starting to gear up to fly into the Alaskan Range hopefully in the next week or so and do some real trapping! looking at focussing on wolves, marten, lynx and wolverine!!!

well that is awesome, ya know, a friend of mine would go up to canada and go on a week long trappin adventure, it was 1000 dollars a person and they slept in a nice warm cabin every night and they got to bring home a fur from each species they trapped, it was my buddy chris his son a friend and his son, the trapper even taught the boys how to trap weasel and such, really took his time, he said it was the most fun he has ever had on a guided hunt of any kind, it might be worth lookn into, there are plenty of guys out there that would love to come along just to check it out... good luck cant wait to see more pics, hopefully you get a couple more wolverines, those a bad arse

That is soooooo cool.  Keep 'em comin'.  This is one of my favorite threads in the winter.  Takes me back to my (way) younger days catching coons and rats back in WI and MO.

So does anyone else ever get tired of skinning and fleshing otter... Lol got a couple it think that go XXXL or 4XL!!! Look like seas otters lol.

I thought the way it worked was, you do the trappn and the runnin of the line, and the wife and kids put up the fur while you watch football and have a few soda pops

that me nice, lol. I actually have a skinner but when I get a big push of fur I have to get my hands dirty

Not a bare spot just chunk of snow. After I shot him I went back in and ate breakfast and he started to freeze to the snow lol. He was just in my driveway. The dogs started barking so I went outside to see what was up and he was trotting up the driveway quick shot with the .22 mag next to the door and I was back to getting ready for work.

Well I guess I can't trap everyday my wife took me into Anchorage with her today to the mall. I so don't like these places. I'm wearing Carharts and a flannel and packing a gun. But she's having fun and that's what matters 😉
