What's really sad is if you get that one L.E.O. who is a stickler or is having abad day and pulls you over and tickets you for having items hanging from your rearview mirror and BANG! The State got even more money out of you. :bdid:

That wouldn't hold up in court, especially with a notch in the holder specifically for the mirror.

Who knows because last I checked it was still a law tonot have items hanging from the rearview mirror while the vehicle is in motion.  LIke I said, the 1 officer, not saying they all stop for that reason but, just the 1 that's having a bad day or something.

Ah, kind of seems like they're entrapping you by requiring you to hang it on your mirror and then ticketing you for leaving it there. I've been driving with mine on all the time if I'm going to or from. Thanks for the edumacation.

Actually nobody is requiring you to hang it on the mirror. All the law states is that the pass "must be visibly displayed in the front windshield, or otherwise in a prominent location for motor vehicles without a windshield, of any motor vehicle"

http://apps.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=79A.80.080

I personally throw mine on the dash since my mirror is too thick to hang it on

Yeah, it is one of those things that is usually ignored 99.99% of the time, another example, Handicap parking tags hanging from mirrors, how many dozens of those do you see driving around???

It really doesnt matter anymore what you do, they are going to get money out of us somehow. Pretty soon you will have to pay a fee for the animal you harvested to be taken out of the woods. I am sure they are coming up with more ways. Its all part of this pathetic state mismanaging the funds that they increase at any moment that they can. All the Yuppies dont care tho, as they think that it actually does good.  :bash:  :bash:

Yeah, that's why they used to have the trash bag law in WA, so the cop didn't have to let you go without making some money. Public servants.
