I suspect Eva Shockey isn't about the hunting istelf as much as she's about GETTING PAID to hunt with an outfitter and pimping them out on their show.  If you guys want to pay her to hunt with you, I'm sure she'd be happy to accommodate you.

Best thing that happened to Washington elk hunting was her striking out with this outfitter, IMHO.  If she bagged one, you'd be seeing her promoting this guy to a bunch of people across the country that just don't know any better.

I think it's good to have young women like Eva who are involved with hunting. I'd rather have my young daughters watch Eva hunting with her dad on TV than a lot of the other shows kids like to watch nowadays.

So I don't think it's "sad" at all, that some of us on this site are interested in Eva Shockey and her latest hunting adventures.

Look, I get the bigger picture on Eva Shockey.  I have a daughter too, and I too watch Shockey when he is on and always do so with my daughter in my lap.  My comment was directed towards that fact that it was big deal that she is in Washington hunting.  Just don't understand the excitement that was getting aroused just because she was here hunting.  If she had bought the Gov tag for deer or elk and was posting she was chasing the big boys around I could maybe see it, but she was just here hunting like the rest of us and I just didn't get what the big deal was.   Plus she was going guided with a guy that most of you seem to be less than friendly with.  I truly wasn't trying at all to offend anyone and believe me, im glad she is an ambassador of our sport.  Just thought that a thread of this magnitude would have more of a story other than "SHES HOT, and SHE WENT TO CABELAS."
