Good job not letting that one go with that tag this year.  Nice buck.

OH the MEMORIES!!!!!! 2006 is all flooding back now!!! Congrats on the REAL NICE buck! We saw over 80 bucks in '06 and never saw a buck that nice! You killed a good buck, I wonder how much longer the Entiat can survive with 50 rifle permits a year?

Thanks for all the great comments, it has been a great hunt so far.  We'll have to see what happens next.

Just got home.  I more down!!! I'll make it quick got lots to do.  I'll get some pics up here shortly.  I had my mind set on a buck bigger or equal to a couple previous kills and/or something that is unique.  I ended up pulling the trigger on a 22 inch 4 point that has a ton of MASS.  I posted the sheds my dad found earlier in the hunt and this deer is probably not as massive but  close.  I couldn't be happier about putting my tag on a mountain buck like this one.  More to come!!!

What elevations were you guys hunting? There looks to be more snow than I thought there would be. I drew the second archery season up there. I was hoping it wasn't going to snow up high for a couple more weeks. Call me selfish. LOL. Nice buck your dad shot. You did good talking him out of the smaller ones. Looking forward to seeing yours.
