Opening Day Methow Buck. (Regular Season)
«

Only had a few days to hunt, so my me my dad and a buddy whent up high to get away from all the people on horses. We hunted all day and saw about 30 doe and 1 Spike. We got back to camp at about 6:00 and sat down for a drink. I looked up the hill and spotted this buck looking at us about 500 yards away. So I whent after him and found him with a few does at the top of the mountain. I had time for one shot at about 150 yards. I dropped in his tracks with a shot to the neck and he rolled halfway down. He's a nice heavy 2x3 real tall with a funky droptine eyeguard on the 2 piont side. He was a pig, real fat and big bodied. I couldnt believe he was right there above camp after all day hunting out and about!
