I have heard they are in the area.  This is in 328, near Wilson Creek/Reecer Creek.

Zoomed in to see the feet better.  I think the ears, blocky face and the feet close the deal.

only way to be certain would be to set up a few landmines there and then do dna tests of the scraps afterward.  if the dna tests come back positive for wolf, youll have to remove the remaining landmines right away so as to protect these noble creatures that are such valuable assets to our ecosystem

They've been in that area for about 5 years (OR LONGER) prior to them discovering them there.

It is killing me, no snow to speak of this year.  Normally I have to snowmobile in this time of year.  I don't know if the lack of snow has the animals on a different pattern, the Taylor bridge fire below us and the Table Mountain fire above us or what?  We just seem to have a ton of predators this year.

This is up near the National Forest, at about 4000 feet.  My stepdad saw one close to the intersection of Reecer Creek Road and Wilson Creek road a couple of years ago.  Said it was the biggest dog or coyote he had ever seen.  When I mentioned wolf he said it was possible.  Now I would say it was definately a wolf back then and now they have moved even closer to town.  Not far from my location is tons of livestock.  Should be easier picking than deer and elk hopefully.  But I am sure this will not help the calf and fawn recruitment this year.  Not that the coyote cougar and bear that I have pics of won't be doing their share of damage.
