Here's a link if anyone is interested - http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/411549944I see that you have to have it shipped to a gun dealer, who charges a transfer fee ($40) at the local place I have my eye on. No problem, but the local place tells me I'll have to pay sales tax even though it's an on-line purchase from another state since I'll be getting the transfer through them. Does that sound right? No way to get away from sales tax on an internet gun purchase? Find a private citizen with an FFL to do the transfer would be my only suggestion....

I see that there are several local small-time gun dealers linked to that site so I'm looking at prices locally for a good deal. Only having purchased guns from retail stores in the past, are there scams or other pitfalls to watch out for when buying from someone who operates out of their house?
