I took pics of two different bucks this week that have outstanding genetics.  Granted this is the ramblings of an addict, but if this guy survives 2 more years he will be BOONE.  I judged him at 3.5 with very nice growth.  I got quite a few different shots of him after following him for some time.  Most will probably be in the photography thread, but I thought you'd all enjoy some more of my opinion.   The other buck will be a 1.5 year old, or first year buck.  He will also be impressive in about 4 years.

Yep thats the same guy.  This is a 1.5 year old I think.  Besides his buggered up eye, I think he will be a dandy.  He had ZERO interest in the rut.   All he wanted to do was fill his belly.  I'll have more of pics of both later.

I agree with ya Bone, Looks like good genetics for young-uns  Id guess them to be that age too!

   Most spikes stand around and are not even noted by bigger bucks.  Some 3.5 year old two point probably saw his bones as a threat and kicked his ass.  Or......he was dinking with one of his young friends and slmost lost an eye as he sparred with a tiny forker....
