new Dodge Diesel or gas.
« on: April 09, 2014, 07:10:06 PM »
Hey Jackalope, just for a question???

two dodges trucks all the same, 2014, 3/4 ton.
all the same except one is diesel and one gas. Obviously the motor and trans are different.
What are the diferences in: shocks? brakes? suspension? bearings? body mounts? electronic items, what reason is there, a diesel (other than engine) would last any longer?
Is there any reason a gas, or diesel, engine would have any effect on other parts?

Or would the extra torque and weight of the diesel cause more or early wear?
I ask cause you see a lot of rigs!
