I bet they are trying to get more people to buy it instead just applying, not getting drawn for a special permit and then not buying the darn thing.
That price change really isn't enough to change my actions. If I had time to really hunt a lot, I'd buy it either way. Without enough time to use it like I would like, the drop isn't enough to make me buy it knowing I won't get as much use out of it as I'd like.

I usually don't even apply for multi-deer. Never needed it, as I usually fill my archery tag. But, this year is different for me. My wife's cancer is raising it's ugly head (again) and I don't yet know when or if I will be able to go. So, I'll be buying it if drawn for more options.ET
I think we should not buy it again this year if drawn and see if they will drop it another $40 next year.
