The "purple" skull is a buck that he killed a few years back that my mom beaded. I think its got the same pattern as a buffalo skull on an old Eagles album cover. I'm sure my brother will put post pics of it.

Sooo...not absolutely crazy about beaded skulls. But he was my first buck, I was with my mom and she wanted to bead it. There are some cool design ideas out there, but I'd only bead a buck I'm not crazy about, or a cougar kill I find. Buffalo skulls can look cool and are better to bead because there is much more surface area. Anyway, here are a couple pics.

Tom at Old Heritage Taxidermy out of Wenas, WA. Great guy, great work. We've been to him for multiple deer, elk, bear, cats...anything! He's fantastic!
