Deer season coyote
« on: April 20, 2014, 08:15:17 PM »
I shot this in deer season at about two yards. I put the second arrow in the lungs because he was still breathing after five minutes and I was by myself and a little nervous.

Good shot. Way to help out with keeping the predator population under control.

I was walking down a trail and he came running from the other way, there was a curve in the trail, drew back while he was around it shot at about 2 yards. Never knew I was there

Love it when I capitalize on targets of opportunity!!!  I had the exact same thing happen when I was muzzy elk hunting a few years back.  Shot the yote and later that afternoon got my elk.

Great shooting.
