Biggest walleye of my life poundage wise

Caught on the columbia (will not say where), was 32" long but unblievable girth.  Tipped the scale a smidge over 15.

Still swimming, I throw back anything over 22", since the State declared war on the columbia river walleyes and they do not taste as good anyway.

I've never eaten a big one but the normal sized ones are tasty!

Nice fish. I'd love to go walleye fishing sometime. Looks like it'd be fun.

Congrats on a great fish!  I don't think that fish missed meal-time very often.
I don't miss many meals either, yet my gut fails to get the admiration your fish gets  :yike:

Assume a female? I know already spawned out

Finally someone on my team! I love walleye but hate to see all the big females getting killed. Oregon Fish and Wildlife is ruining the walleye fishing and Washington is following suit.

......that's what they like to say, but why have I never pulled anything but perch or pikeminnows from their guts on the one's I chose to eat?  It's a lot of bullchit that the salmon/steelhead guys (who definitely outnumber the walleye/bass guys) find anything to point the finger at if something doesn't seem right to them. :twocents:
