Final Halibut trip in Washington for me for the season!!
« on: May 24, 2014, 10:06:05 PM »
We did great today, 25 Halibut to the top, released 20 of them...  We got our limits of Lings too- but 500-600ft of water sucks!!!!!

Great day again with great people...  Time for bed, got to go Oversized fishing in the morning on the Columbia....

Yea, it is great to have a bud like Robodad and group that is able and willing to run for any fish at the drop of a bucket!  Now on to the Salmon for the rest of the summer.  Always an open seat Kevin...

Was a great day, good grade of fish and to be limited out by 6am was a nice touch !! Always a pleasure to have you and Tommy along, too bad his old man couldn't be along for that trip eh, maybe next year !!

Bob is still grinnin from ear to ear and tells everyone at the store what a trip it was last week 5 limits of butts and lings by 7:15am !!  :yike:

Don't forget to pencil this in on your 2015 calendar !!

We caught our limits of Halibut and ling and then ran over to Cake and Hand Rock and caught 30 or so Sea Bass. Ocean was awesome and flat calm. The only down side was dropped $300 into the tank and then put the boat in the water and got up to go thursday morning and the tank on the dock side only had 1/2 tank of fuel. Thought the gauge might be bad but nope... Somebody had to pump the fuel out of that tank when it was moored wednesday night/thursday morning. I guess they needed it more than we did.

Wow that sucks for sure...  I guess I am going to buy a locking gas cap for the boat.  Do they even make something like that for boats?
