That's a lie! If you get a big bull you'll be happy for a year- 2 years top.  Then you'll get that itch and need to shoot another! It's a dang curse!

Here's some words of advice to any anyone seeing all the pics of nice bulls from this unit.

Yes if drawn you have a chance to shoot a quality bull. But it is by far not guaranteed. You can kill just as good of a bull in any unit in the blues. I highly advice anyone wanting to put in for the unit to drive over and look at because that alone can change your mind! Nasty ground. My bull was a little over 4 miles in.

For you guys that have been drawn get in in shape! If you plan on going in a ways then have animals to pack out! I would have died trying to get my bull out without a horse.

Great bull Mav! I appreciate all the advice from guys who have been in there! I've been chasing elk on the westside for over 20 years and know there are no easy elk. Thanks for the insight and pics! :hello:

No problem! Good luck to anyone with a big bull tag anywhere this year! I might in mountain view unit hunting spike with a rifle so if anyone with a rifle quality tag still hasn't tagged out find me and I'll be more than happy to help!
