We were scouting during muzzleloader season when we took that footage. My buddy had the rifle tag and killed a 280ish 6x6 on the second day.

I'd have a hard time shooting a 280 bull knowing that giant was close by  :yike: at least on the second day  :chuckle:

Went up today for the first scout trip. Saw lots of bulls. Only two that might be possibilities come October 1. Got some pics but they didn't turn out well
Happiness is being in the woods!!!

Was up there sayurday! The elk are doing very well.  Almost every cow had a calf. Decent bulls but no huge ones.

Was up there last 2 weekends. Saw a couple bulls got another on my can a decent 4x4. Lots of cows calf's few smaller bucks does an one really wide buck!
