Bad to poor might even be worse than that :bdid:

Likely about 50% opposed to that.  Might as well hunt it and see.
Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!

Wet spring gave them a great start and the food is very green still, I'd say its looking good as long as we don't get extended weeks of hot and dry days, or fires.

Looks to be as normal as ever. Seeing an lot of bucks that are basically done, needing to finish out that last inch on their tines. Others are about 2/3 to 3/4 done.

According to the farmers almanac it's going to be a cold, snowy winter... so hopefully the late season will be good for those who were lucky enough to draw a late season tag!

Been hearing how snowy and wet the winter is going to be for a few years in a row now actually.

I know, I know... I'm just hoping that it's true this year since I drew a late quality deer tag...  ;)

Agreed. All the males of the species that I have seen have had almost no antlers at all. Must be something going on that makes them not even safe to eat so might as well kill those tasty westside critters.

I'll find out how these guys will finish up in a week or so. I've got a couple bucks that looked to be off to an early start but I don't think I've got any "big" guys. The bull might be a hawg.
