At least they are collared. That means they aren't new or unknown.

I think those were non-native, invasive, hybreds someone turned loose with dog collars on.  They were chasing wildlife and livestock.  So I shot them and buried them in a big deep hole!  So as D-Rock said they don't exist...not anymore anyway! ;)

Well, at least that's how it went down in my dream last night ;)
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Here are the photos and the FB post:

The Ag Information Network Paw prints from a rancher friend in the Ritzville WA area. Yes they are now in the grasslands as well as Mts.. Reported that the stride was 3'.

The Ag Information Network and we just received an alert that we have two collared wolves ( who knows how many of their buddies) in the canyon outside of Weston where our son runs yearlings. Helpless feeling. No buzzards overhead yet.

Haha I call BS on that one. You know how many farmers dogs run a few miles from the house. If there was a wolf around I would have heard about it.

I wouldn't be to sure about that. I talked to a Spokane Tribal member at the Big Horn Show in Spokane this year. He was watching a couple not to far from Ritzville on the rez. It wouldn't take too long to travel that far once they got across the river.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

I have it on good authority that wolves were seen out side of moses lake. Im not surprised in the least.

WDFW confirmed wolf tracks near Rock Lake last December.  That's only about 30 miles from Ritzville.

And more near Dusty, WA which is about 40 miles from Ritzville.

There's been quite a few seen in the Rock Lake area the last few years.  One of them last winter was collared but supposedly the collar wasn't working, they did later find out it had come out of Idaho (big surprise there).  Game biologist told me that there are different colored collars which also helps to determine what location they came from.  They're around, just constantly on the move.
