Played hookie today...
« on: July 22, 2014, 01:36:37 PM »
and went fishing with Buckhorn2 (Del) and Jessie  :fishin:

Could not ask for a better day to play hookie from work, thats for sure.

Our catch for the day.

Oh yeah, the tree limits of crab also  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

The other excitement was the 5' shark I caught. Jessie had a hit but missed it, then my pole went down and I set the hook, then the shark broke water  :yike: man was that a fun fight, but the line broke right at the boat, so no pic of the big fella

Thanks again Del for the invite  and Tuna fishing sounds awesome.....hint, hint,

:yeah: It depends on the nature of someones job. I could get in trouble if I called in "sick" and then went and published photos going out and recreating. Not to deny that hunting and fishing have huge therapeutic value! :

I was out there yesterday and heard you guys on the radio about the shark.  We killed the kings.  Purple was the magic color for us.  We caught all our fish in 270-300 foot of water.

Tony it rained and blew hard last night yesterday it was like a lake this morning was different. The tuna were not to far outside of you they were getting tuna at 124.50  I am going next week hard to leave the salmon. We saw sun fish in 60 feet yesterday and Pete battled a shark we thought was a big king. Fish will be here in august Tony only bigger the silvers are growing fast.

I've got to try to Becky into maybe a day trip before we go down next month. With the tuna coming in that close I might have to try my hand at them  :yike:
