It is now legal shooting light!!! I unfortunately have 7 days until I leave for my Elk hunt. Until then I will be living vicariously through all of you lucky enough to be among the Elk this week. I'm sure some of you have probably already located a bull this morning to work on. Shoot straight and keep us poor working saps updated!

I'm with ya guys...I leave for camp Friday...I had trouble sleeping last night knowing season opens today and I'm at work

To those of you out there today. Have you noticed bulls being more vocal compared to last year? Weather is quite a bit different than last year's opener.

I haven't been out yet but have been told by a few the bulls are chasing cows around
