Carbon Raider Arrows
« on: September 12, 2014, 01:06:06 PM »
I see that Dick's has these on sale for $40/doz.  They also have the "platinum" version for $60/doz.  I can't seem to find what the difference is between the two or what kind of fletching they have since the description online is different than what it shows in the picture.  Anyway, that's about as cheap as you'll find carbon arrows and I want to give them a shot to see how they perform.  Anyone know particulars about these arrows or whether Dick's Puyallup has folks who are qualified to do a good job of cutting them to length?

Hi Band, I'm not really familiar with these arrows but at that price they're worth a shot so I picked up a dozen today and took them to the range.  They shot as well as  any arrows I've ever owned.  Even shot an 8" group at 80 yards.  I think you should go ahead and get some.  Bett hurry though because I think they're only on sale through tomorrow!  Good luck. :hello:

P.S. The difference between the "regular" and the Platinum is the regular have 4" vanes and the Platinum have 2" XPV's.

Cool, thanks for the info!  I'm pretty beat today from shooting at the range so I'll look in buying some tomorrow.  Thanks again, people are right about you. ;)

Ever get that feeling you're just talking to yourself?
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

They sell them by the 1/2 dozen so I picked up 2 boxes.  $40. :IBCOOL:
